A high level meeting between the United States Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was held today at the headquarters Minister of Defence, Ship House in Abuja Nigeria's Capital.
The delegation from the United States Embassy led by U.S Defence Attaché in Nigeria, Colonel Tom Brooks, was recieved by the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle.
A statement by the Personal Assistant to the Minister of State for Defence, Ahmad Dan-Wudil said the meeting focused on the existing military cooperation between Nigeria and the United States.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Ambassador Gabriel Tanimu Aduda, Directors and other senior military officers of the Nigerian Armed Forces were in attendance.
