The President Defence and Police Officer's Wives Association (DIPOWA), Mrs. Oghogho Musa has charged the graduating students of DIPOWA school to embibe values of accountability courage, trust worthiness, empathy and responsibility as they move to the next phase of educational pursuit.
Mrs. Musa was speaking at the graduation ceremony and price giving day of DEPOWA Primary and Secondary School at Mogadishu Cantonment, Asokoro, Abuja.
The School graduated its first batch of SS 3 students in a ceremony characterised by dancing, performances and various displays by the students to the delight of the teachers and proud parents.
The 15th DIPOWA President appreciated the exceptional members of staff for nurshiring students and stimulating a conducive learning environment while promising to ensure quality eduction which she described as the powerful weapon for changing the world.
"You have conquered challenges, embraced growth and emerged as shining examples of what can be achieved through hard work and perseverance. As you begin a new chapter in your lives,I urge you to reflect on the valuable lessons you have learned within these walls and remember that education extends beyond your text books, the development of your character will determine your success in life. To my graduating students, you should know that character stands for" stated Mrs. Musa.
She praised the exceptional staff of the school who worked tirelessly over the years investing their expertise in helping the students through guidance and mentorship.
She therefor promised to ensure continuous provision of quality education in the DEPOWA Daycare Nursery, Primary and Secondary School.
Highlights of the event were presentation of awards to outstanding students.
