Former COAS, Buratai Describes General Lagbaja As A True Embodiment Of Discipline And Dedication

Former Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai has has described the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja as a true embodiment of discipline and dedication, expressing deep sadness over the loss. 

According to General Buratai, his passing leaves a void in the Nigerian Army and the nation at large. 

He extended his heartfelt condolences to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, General Lagbaja's beloved wife, Mrs. Mariyah Abiodun Lagbaja, the Acting Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, and the entire Nigerian Army paying for the forgiveness of his shortcomings and eternal rest.


Buratai said the nation has lost a strategic commander as his leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping the Nigerian Army into the formidable institution it is today.
