Team Nigeria Armed Forces Wins 9 Gold, Medals in Taekwondo at Africa Military Games in Abuja.

Team Nigeria has won 11 Medals at the African Military Games Taekwondo event. Nine gold plus five other medals camd from the Poomsae events.

Some of the gold medallists include Mohammed Yusuf (men’s 54kg), Rejoice Bisalla (women’s -46kg), Chinenye Ibeh (women’s -49kg) and Glory Anam (women’s -53kg).

Daniel Alexander settled for Silver in the men’s -58kg class while Alassa Aminu secured a Bronze medal in the men’s -63kg category.

The overall medals table see Nigeria tops the medals table with a total of 64 medals including 34 gold, 16 silver, and 14 bronze medals.

Algeria is in second position with 24 medals, while Tunisia, with nine medals, sits in third place so far on the table.
