In the aftermath of the flood disaster in Maiduguri the Borno State capital which rendered many homeless, government, local and international aid has been geared towards bring relief yo tye victims and to support the overall efforts of the state government.
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in this regard has been airlifting crucial relief materials to Maiduguri in Borno State, as part of NAF's broader commitment to humanitarian relief efforts, in coordination with government agencies in fulfilment of one of its constitutional responsibilities of providing Military Aid to Civil Authority.
