AANI President Governance Says Says Governance Education Shapes Future Of African Continent

The National President of the Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI), Ambassador Emmanuel Okafor says AANI recognises the significance of governance education in shaping the future of the African continent. 


Ambassador Okafor said, the African School of Governance located in Kigali Rwanda, under the leadership of Professor Kingsley Moghalu, shares in the vision of the AANI in promoting effective governance and leadership in Africa.


He stated this during a high-level Dialogue on Governance Education in Africa, organized by the Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI) in collaboration with the African School of Government (ASG), Kigali, Rwanda which was held at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja Nigeria. 


The AANI President said The African School of Governance's mission to empower African leaders through innovative public policy education and research, resonates with AANI's mission to champion inclusive and transformational governance.


"As an advocacy body, AANI is committed to providing a platform for meaningful discussions and collaborations that drive national development.
Today's dialogue presents a unique opportunity for us to share experiences, explore innovative solutions, and foster partnerships that promote good governance and leadership in Africa."

The dialogue which explored innovative approaches to governance education with the aim of driving sustainable development and transformative governance solutions for Africa featured paper presentations, discussions and questions and answers segments.
