26 persons have been killed with others injured as an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted by suspected Boko Haram terrorists exploded in Gamboru Ngala, Borno State, North East Nigeria.
The explosion was reported to have happened at on Monday 28th April 2025 at about 11:00am when vehicles traveling from Rann, headquarters of Kala-Balge to Gamboru Ngala stumbled on the IEDs, near Furunduma, 11 kilometers from Rann.
Accoridng eyewitness, the victims included women and children. Breakdown shows Male :16, Female:4, Children:6. Those Injuries were 3 persons, 1 Male, 1 Female and 1 Child.
As of the time of this report, the details of the explosion is unclear, and an official statement has not been released.
