Air India 171 crash new details about plane crash in Ahmedabad that killed 260 people emerging
The United States National Transportation
Safety Board (NTSB) has stated that the Air India crash media reports on the
reasons behind the incident were speculative and premature.
India's Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau
(AAIB), which is investigating the accident, had released a preliminary report
last week which left more questions unanswered.
Several media reports Indian and Western media speculating
the cause of the crash had pointed to possible pilot error.
India's Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram
Mohan Naidu urged the press and people not to "jump to
conclusions" and wait for the final report.
