🇳🇬 Defence Minister Celebrates Oluremi Tinubu, Commends Her Support For Armed Forces Families And Social Welfare

The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd.), has felicitated the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her birthday, commending her contributions to social welfare and her support for members of the Armed Forces and their families.

General Musa, in a message issued on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, the Armed Forces of Nigeria and his family, described the First Lady as a figure of hope, compassion and service whose activities have continued to attract attention to vulnerable communities, women and youths.

The Minister said Senator Tinubu's support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and her work through the Renewed Hope Initiative had contributed to efforts focused on empowering women and youths, supporting vulnerable Nigerians and advancing social welfare.

General Musa also commended the First Lady's continued support for personnel of the Armed Forces and their families, particularly those serving in frontline operations to secure the country. He highlighted her empathy and encouragement towards service members as an important expression of solidarity with the men and women of the military.

The Minister said her advocacy for peace and national unity remained valuable to Nigeria, describing her motherly guidance, wisdom and commitment to social causes as contributions to the country's wider development.

“As Her Excellency celebrates another year of God’s grace and abundant blessings, we pray that Almighty God grants her robust health, long life, divine wisdom, and renewed strength to continue her noble work alongside the Commander-in-Chief in steering Nigeria toward peace, security, and prosperity,” General Musa stated.

He said the Ministry of Defence joined the First Family, friends, well-wishers and Nigerians in celebrating Senator Tinubu, wishing her a memorable birthday and many more years of impactful service to humanity.
