An NGO known as 'BRAVE-IT' Sympathizes with Victims over Tragic Kaduna Drone Attack

A non-governmental organisation known as Building Resilience Against Violent Extremism, Insurgency and Terrorism (BRAVE-IT)says it stands in solidarity with the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Armed Forces of Nigeria and the resilient people of Kaduna State following the tragic drone attacks in Tudun Biri. 

A statement by the Director of Public Affairs and Strategies, BRAVE-IT its said it recognizes the gravity of the unprecedented event and extends its deepest sympathies to all those affected. 

"Our hearts go out to the families and friends of the innocent citizens who lost their lives in this tragedy. We are closely monitoring the situation and trust that the authorities are diligently conducting a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind this heinous act". 

"We wish to equally commend the President and Commander in Chief, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the swift response, the Chief of Defence Staff General CG Musa for the purposeful leadership of the Armed Forces and the Nigerian military particularly the Nigerian Army for once again demonstrating its capacity to continue to evolve in the face of growing challenges and proving to be a responsible force to own up to it's mistakes". 

"This isolated incident would not in anyway mark a departure from the progress made in the ongoing efforts to combat insurgency and terrorism in Nigeria. BRAVE-IT remains committed to supporting the government and security forces as they work tirelessly to safeguard the lives and property of Nigerian citizens". 

The organisation urged all Nigerians to remain calm and patient as the investigation unfolds while expressing confidence in the capabilities of the military and law enforcement agencies to ensure that justice is swiftly served for the victims and their families.

It stressed that the media has a crucial role to play in providing accurate and responsible coverage as the country navigates through the challenging period.

" BRAVE-IT calls upon the media to exercise sensitivity and restraint in their reporting, and to assist in fostering unity and resilience among the Nigerian populace"
