Following the unexpected early exit of the Ghanaian National Team, the Black Stars in the grouo stage of the AFCON tournament, the Ghana Football Association has announced the sacking of Chris Hughton.
The statement on the official site of the GFA sai it has relieved Chris Hughton of his duties as head coach of the senior National team with immediate effect.
The Executive Council said it took the decision to also dissolve the technical team of the Black Stars.
The Ghana Football Association says it will communicate its next move for the Black Stars in the coming days.
The exit of the Black Stars from the tournament was confirmed on Tuesday after the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon came from behind to beat Gambia 3-2 to advance to the knockout stage.
