A night of drama, and suspense wrote the comeback story for the Super Falcons of Nigeria who came from 2 goals deficit to beat host Morocco 3-2 in the final of 2024 WAFCON at the Olympic Stadium, Rabat. 

First goal in the 13th minute by Moroccan, G. Chebbak 

Second goal in the 24th minute by Moroccan S. Mssoudy

3rd goal in the 64th minute by Nigerian E. Okoronkwo (P)

Fourth goal in the 71st minute by Nigerian F. Ijamilusi 

Fifth goal in 88’ by Nigerian J. Echegini 

Nigeria' won the best goal keeper, 

Ajibade Rasheedat won Best player of the tournament.
