Force Commander Multinational Joint Task Force Concludes Sectors Familiarization Visit


 


In an efforts to keeps abreast with the situation at the MNJTF's sectors, the Force Commander (FC) Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Major General Gold Chibuisi in the last leg of his familiarization visited Sector 1 MNJTF Mora Cameroon. 

A statement by the Chief Military Public Information Officer MNJTF, Lieutenant Colonel Kamarudeen Adegoke said the Force Commander was accompanied on the visit by the Chief of Staff (COS) HQ MNJTF Colonel Djimet Kafine Barka and other senior officers from the Headquarters.

They were received by the Commander Sector 1 Colonel Tiokap Pierre Loti who led the Force Commander and his entourage to the conference room where a detailed brief was given covering operational activities, achievements and challenges among others. 

In a welcome remark, Colonel Loti congratulated him on his appointment as the FC and assured him that the Sector was ready to carry out all assigned tasks that will lead to an end of BH/ ISWAP Terrorists in the Lake Chad Basin.

The Force Commander expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage and commended troops of the Sector for their courage, patriotism and doggedness in the fight against the Insurgents and added that he was pleased with their commitment in curbing the excesses of the terrorists. 

This he said has resulted in significant successes in the quest for restoring peace to the Lake Chad Basin region. He emphasized on the need to sustain the pressure while noting that the terrorists can not survive if the fight is taken to their Tumbuns. 

Gen Chibuisi stressed that the synergy among the sectors would yield ideas that will help in the total restoration of peace and security in the Lake Chad Basin region while assuring the Sector of the support of HQ MNJTF at all times.


While in the Sector, the FC visited the Medical Services Hospital in the camp and assured the patients that all will be done to ensure they receive adequate medical treatment to ensure their quick recovery. He expressed satisfaction with the level of professional conduct of the staff in handling the patients.
