The members of the Nigerian Army Direct Regular Commission, Course Four of 1993, (DRC 04/93), have been called upon to continue to contribute their quarter to critical national issues and development.
Brigadier General Tunde Ogbeha, made the call while addressing members of the Direct Regular Commission, Course Four of 1993 as they marked their 30th anniversary and reunion, at the Scorpion Officers Mess, Wu Bassey Barracks, Abuja, Nigeria.
Brigadier General Tunde Ogbeha who was the Chairman of the Occasion applauded members of the DRC 04/93 association for contributing so much to the Nigerian Army in their various capacities and specialisation.
He adviced memebers that beyond the Asssociation of Direct Regular Commission, Course Four, they must put in place legacies that will sustain the association and pass from their generation to their children's generation.
"They are held by one string, the string is that they belong yo the military, and that Military ethics teaches them that they should be one another's keeper, tbey need a platform to serve as a forum for unity amf association for the general welfare of their members" stated Brigadier General Tunde.
The Chairman, caretaker Committee of the DRC 04/93 Association, Brigadier General Kukasheka Sani Usman, while giving an insight into the association said it has a total of One Hundred and Seventeen (117) members out of which 20 passed away.
General Sk Usman reiterated that réunions and anniversaried are to Strenghten the bonds developed amongst members as they strive to comtribute to national development, peace and security of Nigeria.
"As you can see, we are leveraging on the expertise diverse expertise of the composition of the Membership of this course, we have professionals into various fileds of endeavours, some into the medical, logistics, some engineering and so on"
"if you have heard what I said earlier we'll continue to contribute for the betterment of the society, using the advantage od our wealth of experience and expertise in our vadious fileds, therefore is a kind of a work in progress, where we'll harmonise the experitise of members to see how we can contribute better to national development, peace amd security" stated General Kukasheka Usman.
On the journey so far by the association, General Uman said "It was challenging and rewarding in the sense that after thirty years we are waxing stronger and we still have some of our collegues in the army and some outside the country while others working with UN snd other international bodies, so it's a thing of joy, pride to have these people around some of whom we have not seen for the oast thirty years. You can see the level of friendship as if it was just yesterday".

While delivering a health talk at the occasion, a Proffessor of Integretive Medicine,
Professor Osmond Oyeka said Holistic health is understanding that man is a tripartite being made up of body, mind and spirit and certain factors such as diet, environmemt and electromagnetic egnisions affects that wholistic health.
These developmenental factors and advances he said have changed the advent of diseases in the human body whcih sometimes may not be diagnose by medical sciences. It becomes important to keep on monitoring stress kevel,
Sleep more and to have time for relaxation.
The event which was also witnessed by memebers of the association who joined live on zoom, had the presentation of surveniers to some members and guest as well as entertainment by the band of the Nigerian Army Guards Brigade.
