NOWA CAROL: Naval Chief Applauds the Resilience of Naval Officers and Wives

The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Adm. Emmanuel Ogalla has commended the commitment and resilience of the Vaval Officers and thier Wives which he described as a testament of strength and togetherness. 

Vice Admiral Ogalla who gave the commendation at the Naval Officer's Wives (NOWA), Christmas Carol and Night of Nine Lessons in Abuja, also commended the Naval Officer's Wives for promoting unity and resilience within the naval community.

The NOWA carol had renditions of Christmas songs, scriptural reading, sermon, prayer for personnel and their families, candle light procession cutting of cake to herald the Christmas celebration.

CNS equally appreciated the President of NOWA, Mrs Ijeoma Ogalla, and the leadership of the association for touching lives of the less privileged and for continuous humanitarian wprks especially in the season of giving.

He honoured the sacrifices made by naval personnel pointing out that their service and selfless commitment to the nation deserves deepest respect and gratitude.

The Naval Chief appreciated the President Bola Tinubu for his relentless support to the navy while pledging to sustain efforts that would ensure an end to the security challenges in the country.

A minute silence was observed in honour of those who lost their lives in the Kaduna mishap as the CNS used the occasion to remembered the victims of the recent unfortunate incident in Kaduna State, expressing his sympathy to the families of the victims as well as the government of Kaduna State and the Federation.

The joyful occasion drew, Senior officers from the Navy both saving and retired, members of NOWA, DEPOWA, NAOWA and NAFOWA members of the clergy, the media amongs others.
