The National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has expressed government's commitment to addressing the security challenges of the country, while assuring citizens that the joint security operatives are working tirelessly to bring peace and stability to the country.
Mallam Nuhu Ribadu stated this when he handed over five rescued kidnapped victims bcak to their families at the National Counter Terrorism Centre, Office of the National Security Adviser, in Abuja Nigeria's Capital.
The coordinated efforts of the intellegence agencies and other security operatives led to the rescue of the family of the family of five who were kidnapped on Saturday 20 July 2024 at Mahuta Village, Kaduna South LGA, Kaduna state.
The rescued victims which included children and adults ranging from ages 5, 7, 9, 25 and 36 years are members of one family recued on Sunday, 28 July 2024, at Rijana general area, Chikun LGA, Kaduna State by the dedicated Security operatives.
The National Coordinator, National Counter Terrorism Centre, Major General Adamu Garba Laka, presented the victims to the National Security Adviser, who applauded the security operatives for their continuous sacrifice for the freedom of the nation.
The consistency and commitment of the security operatives in the Counter Terrorism operations in Nigeria, led by the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) continue to pay off with the rescue of more kidnapped victims accross the country.
The rescued victims made up of a family of five, mother and four children were on Tuesday 30th July handed over to their family by the National Security Adviser with assurance that the security agencies will not give criminals and pepatrators of such acts breathing space.
