Nigerian Army troops expunged and destabilized terrorists attempting to escape military action firepower, aborting their mission and going on the run.
The troops neutralized two of the terrorists with overwhelming firepower, while others fled in disarray at Kwaga village of Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State,
Troops while Acting on credible intelligence, positioned an ambush against terrorists transiting along Birnin Gwari-Manini axis, leading to an intense firefight.
The operation also led to the recovery of some arms and equipment, including two AK-47 rifles, three rifle magazines, one Baofeng radio, and three motorcycles used by the terrorists.
The Nigerian Army remains resolute in its mission to rid the country of terrorism and ensure the safety of all citizens. Troops are still on the trail of the wounded terrorists.
