Serie A champions Napoli have insisted that Nigerian striker Victor
Osimhen will only leave the club for the quoted fee of €75m.
It
would be recalled that the release clause for the Nigerian expired on Tuesday
as Napoli retains the €75m price tag on the play maker.
Osimhen
has intended to leave Napoli since last summer after issues with club owners,
but the move has stalled.

Clubs
like Galatasaray had made moves to sign the striker on a permanent deal after joining
them on loan last season.
Napoli
has turned down several offers from the Turkish club over their failure to
provide bank guarantees to complete their payment on the striker.
Osimhen
has been seeking a permanent move away from Napoli. During his loan spell in
Turkey, the 26-year-old led Galatasaray to a domestic double – the Super Lig
and Turkish Cup, scoring 37 goals plus eight assists in 41 games across all
competitions.
