The Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI) has celebrated one of its most influential former presidents, Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi, CON, OFR, mni, as he marked his 86th birthday, describing his life as a lasting example of strategic leadership, public service and national development.

The National Publicity Secretary, Engr. Ifeanyi Jude Ngama, mni, disclosed that the President of AANI, Ambassador Emmanuel Obi Okafor, mni, conveyed the goodwill of the National Executive Committee and the Association's membership in honour of the elder statesman, who served as AANI President between 1999 and 2003.
Born into the Ado-Ekiti royal family in 1940, Prince Adelusi-Adeluyi built a distinguished career as a pharmacist, business executive, administrator, former Minister of Health and respected national leader. AANI noted that his contributions across public service and the private sector have continued to influence governance, leadership and institutional development in Nigeria.
The Association credited his tenure as AANI President with reinforcing the organisation's commitment to strategic leadership, national unity, good governance and nation-building. It described his legacy as one that continues to inspire members of the National Institute alumni community and emerging leaders across the country.
Ambassador Okafor congratulated the former AANI President on attaining another milestone and prayed for continued good health, wisdom and many more years of impactful service to Nigeria and humanity.
AANI reaffirmed its appreciation for Prince Adelusi-Adeluyi's enduring contributions and wished him continued peace, fulfilment and God's blessings as he celebrates his 86th birthday.
