The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Abuja, has formally sent forth three retired senior officers serving as consultants and bid farewell to three officers posted to other formations and units, recognising their contributions to the development and activities of the Centre.

The Director General, Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Major General James Myam (rtd.), described the occasion as an opportunity to formally acknowledge the contributions of Major General BO Ologundudu (rtd.), Brigadier General AK Egwuagu (rtd.) and Brigadier General SK Usman (rtd.), who are leaving the Centre after about five years of service.
Major General Myam noted that the contributions of the three consultants had helped shape activities and institutional development at the Centre, stressing that some of NARC’s legacies could not be discussed without acknowledging their roles.
He urged the retired officers to remain available to the Centre and continue to share their wealth of experience and knowledge whenever their expertise is required.
The Centre also formally sent forth Brigadier General LA Bello, mni, Colonel AE Oladipo and Major MB Aliu, who have been posted to other formations and units.
The Director General appreciated their contributions during their respective periods at the Centre, noting that although some had spent a relatively short time there, they had made meaningful contributions to its activities.
Major General Myam, on behalf of the management and staff of NARC, wished all six officers success in their next endeavours and prayed for continued progress in their respective assignments.
The send-forth ceremony brought together consultants, directors, senior research fellows and staff of the Nigerian Army Resource Centre.
