Head coach of the Super Falcons, Justin Madugu, says his players are ready mentally, psychologically, and tactically for their quarter-final clash against Zambia at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) on Friday.
The much anticipated
encounter is set to take place at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca from 5
p.m. Nigerian time.
Madugu said the
coaching crew has studied Zambia’s style of play, identifying both their
strengths and weaknesses, and has tailored the Falcons’ strategies accordingly.

Zambia, on the other hand, emerged as runners-up in Group
A, showcasing an attacking flair throughout the group stage.
They began with a 2–2 draw against hosts Morocco, edged
Senegal 3–2, and closed with a narrow 1–0 win over DR Congo, demonstrating both
resilience and attacking momentum.
