Location: Nationwide

The operations, conducted across the North-East, North-West, North-Central, and South-South regions, reflect intensified intelligence-driven actions targeting supply chains, mobility corridors, and support structures of armed groups.

In the North-East Theatre, troops of 192 Battalion executed a successful ambush on ISWAP/JAS elements around Kuranabassa Village in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, forcing a withdrawal towards the Mandara Mountains. Recovered items include one AK-47 rifle, a magazine loaded with 12 rounds of 7.62 x 39mm ammunition, an AK-47 rifle top cover, and other materials.

In a related operation, troops of 27 Task Force Brigade, working with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), intercepted three vehicles along the Yunusari–Bukarti–Kala/Gamari axis carrying suspected terrorist logistics. Five suspects were arrested, with recovered items including solar panels, water pumping machines, construction materials, mobile phones, and cash.

Logistics Interdiction Expands to North-Central

In Kogi State, troops of 12 Brigade mounted a snap checkpoint along the Obajana–Kabba road, intercepting a vehicle conveying suspected logistics couriers. Two suspects were arrested, while troops recovered 314 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, three AK-47 magazines, mobile phones, and identification documents.

Clearance Operations in North-West

Troops of 17 Brigade conducted offensive clearance operations across Musawa and Matazu Local Government Areas of Katsina State, destroying terrorist life-support structures in multiple villages, including Gidan Mai-Gona, Gidan Dangodo, Sabongari Nagalawa, Kurna Dogon Tsamiya, Gidan Karo, and Gidan Lawal Natapi.

Rescue and Stabilisation Operations

In Plateau State, troops under Operation ENDURING PEACE responded to distress calls and rescued 12 civilians trapped by insurgents, while injured victims received immediate medical evacuation.

In Rivers State, troops operating in the South-South discovered and secured approximately 3,250 litres of suspected illegally refined petroleum products along Refinery Road in Eleme Local Government Area.

In Taraba State, troops of 114 Battalion arrested nine suspected terrorist informants linked to a known criminal kingpin and dismantled identified coordination hideouts.

Strategic Signal: Systematic Network Disruption

The spread and simultaneity of operations indicate a deliberate shift toward dismantling the enabling systems of terrorism logistics, informant networks, and operational sanctuaries across multiple regions.

By targeting supply chains and support infrastructure, the Nigerian Army is constraining the operational capacity and regeneration ability of armed groups.

Forward Outlook

Sustained multi-theatre pressure is expected to degrade network cohesion and limit the ability of terrorist and criminal groups to coordinate attacks or rearm.

The Nigerian Army has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining operational momentum while urging the public to provide credible and timely intelligence to support ongoing security efforts.
